Do not fret because of evildoers,
Be not envious of wrong.
For they will wither quickly like grass,
And fade like green herb strong.
Trust in the Lord and do good;
Dwell in the land, sustain.
Delight yourself in the Lord,
Desires He will ordain.
Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust Him and He will do.
He'll bring forth your righteousness
As light, your judgment true.
Rest in the Lord and wait for Him,
Do not fret due to wrong.
Cease from anger, forsake wrath,
It only leads to harm.
Evildoers will be cut off,
Those who wait will inherit.
The meek shall inherit the land,
Delight in abundant peace.
The wicked plots against the just,
Gnashes teeth in disdain.
The Lord laughs at him for He sees
His day will come again.
Wicked draw the sword and bend the bow,
To cast down poor and just.
Their sword shall enter their own heart,
Their bows shall be broken.
Better the little of the just,
Than wealth of wicked hosts.
For the arms of wicked will break,
The Lord upholds the just.
The Lord knows days of the blameless,
Their inheritance will last.
They will not be ashamed in time,
In days of famine satisfied.
But wicked perish, enemies
Of the Lord, like fields they fade.
They vanish like smoke away.
The wicked borrow, won’t repay.
But righteous show mercy and give.
Those blessed by Him inherit;
But those cursed by Him will be cut off,
Steps of man are by the Lord.
He delights in his way. When he falls,
He shall not be cast down.
The Lord upholds him with His hand.
I have been young and now old.
Yet I have not seen the righteous
Forsaken, nor his seed beg.
All day long he is gracious,
Lends; his seed is a blessing.
Depart from evil, do good,
So you will abide forever.
For the Lord loves justice,
And will not forsake His saints.
They are preserved forever;
The seed of the wicked cut.
The righteous will inherit land
And dwell in it forever.
The mouth of righteous utters wisdom,
His tongue speaks justice.
The law of God is in his heart,
His steps do not slip away.
The wicked spies upon the just,
And seeks to kill him.
The Lord will not leave him in his hand,
Nor condemn him in judgment.
Wait for the Lord and keep His way,
He will exalt you.

Wicked cut off, you will see.

Spreading like native tree.
He passed away, and was no more;
I sought him, could not find.
