With wings unfurled, they take to flight, Soaring high above the plain, Then back to earth to hunt again. A master digger, strong and fleet, A wonder of the world to meet. From grasslands vast to deserts dry, They watch the world with curious eye. A symbol of the wild and free, A tiny owl, as it should be. A creature of the open space. With hoots and calls, a playful cheer, They fill our hearts with joy and cheer. So let us guard their home with care, Protect these owls, beyond compare. A treasure of the land, it’s true. With every blink, a world unseen, A life of wonder, pure and clean. Let’s keep them safe, let’s help them thrive, So future generations can survive To see these owls, so rare and fine.
