අපේ අම්මා විශ්‍රාම යන්නේ අදයි..! අද ඇයට වයස අවුරුදු හැටයි. අම්මා වෘත්තියෙන් නැටුම් ගුරුවරියක්. ඇයගේ මුළු ජීවිත කාලයෙන් වසර 38ක් ම ගෙවුනේ නර්තන ගුරුවරියක් විදියට. ඇගෙන් නර්තනය ඉගෙනගත් ගෝල පරම්පරාව දහස් ගණනක්. ඒ අය අතරින් නර්තන ගුරුවර ගුරුවරියන් ද බොහෝ ප්‍රමාණයක් ඉන්නවා. විෂය අකුරටම කියා දීම විතරක් නෙවෙයි. ඇය දහස් ගණනක දරුවන්ට මව් සුවඳ දුන්නා. බඩගින්නේ ඉන්න අහිංසක ළමයෙක් දැක්කාම අම්මගේ හිත උණුවෙන්නේ වෙඬරු වගේ. තමන්ගේම බත් පාර්සලය දිගහැරලා දරුවන් එක්ක බොදාගෙන දරුවන්ගේ කුසගිණි නිවපු "මංගලිකා ටීචර්" අද විශ්‍රාම යනවා..! දරුවන්ගේ ගෙවල්වල ප්‍රශ්න ඇවිත් කියද්දී ඒවා අහලා උන් එක්කම අඬපු, උන්ව තුරුල් කරගෙන උන්ගෙ ගිනි නිවපු මංගලිකා ටීච අද විශ්‍රාම යනවා..! කියන්නනම් දේවල් බොහොමයි. නමුත් ඒ දේවල් මෙහෙම පෝස්ට් එකකට ගොනුකරන්න අමාරුයි. ඒ නිසා මේ පෝස්ට් එක දකින "මංගලිකා ටීචගේ ගෝලයින්ට" තමන්ගේ සුන්දර මතක ගුරු පඬුරක් ලෙසින් කමෙන්ට් කරන්නට මම ඉඩහරිනවා. දිවිසැරියෙන් වසර තිස් අටක්, බෙරයත් බෙර පදයත්, නැටුමත් දරුවන්ගේ ජීවිතත් වෙනුවෙන් කැප කළ මගේ අම්මාට සුවබර විශ්‍රාම දිවියක් වේවා..! මීට, පුතා දිනේෂ් මුතුගල Our mother is retiring today..!
