Let me tell you a story folks. It's a short one, don't worry. Or is it? Well, I guess we'll see, won't we? This is a story about eating And how sometimes it's better to let things go Oh-ohh Oh-oh-ohh I was at home, chillin' out, feelin' good But then my stomach growled, "Get me food." Movin' to the kitchen proved easy enough Makin' myself a sandwich was easy too But then it slipped out of my hand And I asked myself Why do they always land upside down? Is it a physical law, or just bad luck? Am I the one in the million, every time? Now I'm out of bread Stuck with a sandwich full of hair And other stuff I can't identify I just hope it isn't deadly 'Cause I'm too hungry to care I don't get why you're cheerin'. I put nothing crunchy on that sandwich, and yet it crunched. I put nothing salty on that thing, and yet it was. And guess what? [Chorus] Food poisoning isn't a fun Saturday night. Projectile vomiting isn't a sport, and let's not get into details, (but not from the other end either) I don't know where this song is goin' But I'm feelin' it I didn't know what was on that sandwich But I ate it Do I recommend repeating it? No-oh-ohh If you drop a sandwich upside down You probably shouldn't eat it Unless it's war Or if you're as hungry as I was Now is this song a jam You bet Is jam a better topping than the floor You bet Is this song too long for it's purpose, as a cautionary tale You bet And you bet it's not over At least not yet
