If there is me!

[Verse] If there is me, let me observe the twelve causes and conditions Twelve causes and conditions are based on cause and effect Cause and effect arise from mental actions [Verse] If you don’t have a heart yet, how much more should you have a body? If there is me, I will see it; if there is no me, I will not see it. If the mind is born, let the nature of death be destroyed; if the mind is destroyed, let the nature of birth be destroyed. Destruction is seeing nature, that is, entering into reality Why? It is not born, it is not destroyed, it is not born, it is not destroyed, it is not born, it is not born, it is not destroyed, all things are like this [Chorus, in minor key] Twelve causes and conditions. What is twelve? One is originally delusion, the other is deeds from delusion, and the third is knowledge from deeds. The fourth is name and form from what is known, the fifth is name and form from name and form, and the sixth is from six declines to what is changed. The seventh one is from what is more painful, the eighth one is from pain to love, the ninth one is from love to seeking, the tenth one is from seeking to gain. The eleven are from acquisition to life, the twelve are from birth to old age, sickness and death. These are the twelve causes and conditions. [Chorus, in minor key] If there are sentient beings who see the Dharma arising, how can they see it disappear? When you see the Dharma disappearing, how can you see the order disappearing? If there are sentient beings who see the dharma arising, they will not see its cessation; if they see the dharma disappearing, they will see its cessation. If it dies, it means that the Dharma is truly nonexistent, and enters into the decisive determination of non-birth.
