Hey Mom, I’m writing from a rooftop view, The sun sets over palm trees, pink painted hues, The city shines like the stars above, With the amazing stars that party below. I walk the streets where dreams are born, With every step, I feel a bit torn, ‘Cause in this chaos that’s so bright and loud, I miss the quiet of our little town. Oh, Hollywood’s a world away, But I wish you could still see me today, I’m chasing fame and fortune, but it’s just not the same, Without you here, it feels like losing a game.
