In reverent silence, let us hear, The sovereign words, divinely clear. From realms above, they softly flow, A sacred verse, in whispers low. The nations rage, their tumult rise, Yet in His might, the Lord replies. His chosen King, with power endowed, Shall reign supreme, His glory proud. "Embrace my Son," the heavens decree, In Him find refuge, bow the knee. For those who spurn His gracious call, Shall face His wrath, His judgment fall. Take heed, O rulers, wise and grand, Submit to Him, who rules the land. With trembling hearts, embrace His grace, And find in Him, a resting place. So let the earth with praises ring, To Christ our King, our sovereign King. In psalm and song, His name extol, The Lord of lords, the King of all. [outro]
