In the dim morning light, I rise before the dawn, The city sleeps, but my mind races on. On crowded buses, faces dull and worn, Dreams tucked away, silently forlorn. In the office's glare, the hours blend and bend, My gaze fixed on screens, where emails never end. The clock ticks away, a reminder of the grind, Searching for purpose, that I'm yet to find. Lunch breaks flash by, in the blink of an eye, Reports, meetings, deadlines, the stress mounts high. But I won't give in, though the slope is steep, For the ones at home, their smiles I keep. The evening's rush, the human tide flows, Weary I may be, but inside, determination grows. Tomorrow's another day, the worker's fight, Holding dreams close, within my sight.
