Clothes

By far the finest clothes that ever were, Of all the clothes, were actually the second, Hand knitted by the Lord of Earth and Heaven, To clothe His children risen from the dirt. My illustrated Bible disagrees, It shows them dressed like sad Neanderthals. There’s hardly any craftsmanship at all, As if Our Lord was clumsy with the seams. When God comes in to clothe His fallen souls, His work is not reflective of their fall. I have to think His covering is full, It's mercy that He's giving, after all.
