Never too Late

Life can be filled with sadness and regret And full of memories that we would like to forget When terrible things surround us all the while It's hard to focus on the things that make me smile   Blessings surround us each and every day But we might not always see them When our skies are always grey But take a minute to ponder The fresh air that you breathe And how our body functions daily So complex, but so at ease Look at the way the trees blossom so bright and green Especially after a winter that was so cold and mean And the way we see the sunlight And feel the heat beneath our skin These are just a few of the things That make our world worth living in Even if our minds become consumed with scorn Just remember every day we wake Is a new day to be born When you change the way you look at the world The world changes its appeal Don't ever forget… It's never too late to change the way we feel Never too late We can change how we feel
