Tell me a tale of the shadows so deep Listless and hushed, where the willows all weep Sway with the breeze in a haunting ballet Move to the strings where the spirits all play I wear my shroud, like a cloak in the night I'll twirl and I'll thread in the pale moonlight Spin me a yarn where the pumpkins all grin Cackles and whispers, and mischief within Dance with the scarecrows, with buttons for eyes Skipping 'round headstones 'neath starry skies In my boots I'll stomp, with a ghostly delight I'll laugh and I'll jest till the dawn's early light
