Before night falls and the path narrows, consistent with life, I return to the starting point thrown from a cloud. In El Rastro, I lingered, speculating with remains of some alive and others dead. The wounds of the injured, bent and dazed, shook my nightmares. I no longer have chairs, desires or dreams, just a couple of reasons that keep my sanity. Freedom and composure have a price, it’s oblivion. Deny me how I’ve lived! I surrender without a tear. Without anger, nor pity. I accept, “Memento Mori.” I renounce any satori, or if you prefer, Nirvana, and I appeal to my pagan faith, with full conviction, that if I’m in the way, I’m sorry
