Concocting life from the elements drawn A glimpse of creation, at the break of dawn Day four, mutations I never foresaw In the silence, a lone, unhinged caw Madness whispers from the vials in line This work, my opus, defies every sign I'm mixing up here, hoping for a breakthrough sign Day one, these beakers bubbling hues Lost grip on reality's cue Day two, equations spiralling in my mind This strain, it's monstrous in design, eludes control Tinkering with genes, rewriting nature's role Someone please help me!
