Zipper Troubles

[Verse] I was at the family cookout, under the old oak tree, Grillin' hot dogs and burgers, my cousin Jenny next to me. We were playin' horseshoes, laughin' 'bout the score, Until my zipper caught her shirt, and oh what a uproar. [Verse 2] Jenny hollered out loud, while I tried to wriggle free, We twisted and turned like a barnyard jamboree. Then came Mama runnin', with a look that could kill, She said, "Lord have mercy, y'all better hold still!" [Chorus] Caught in a pickle with my cousin Jenny, Zipper stuck tight, ain't that just plenty? Mama's eyes wide with disbelief, Tryin' to fix this crazy mischief. [Verse 3] Uncle Joe's laughin' so hard, he nearly splits his sides, Grandma's shakin' her head, while the kids take sides. The whole darn family's gathered 'round to see, Me and Jenny, zipped together, just like it's meant to be. [Bridge] Mama grabs some butter, tries to loosen things, Jenny's face redder than a pair of hot chicken wings. Finally with a yank, we break free at last, And Mama says, "Next time, zip it up fast!" [Verse 4] We all sat back down, everyone jestin', Jenny and I just smilin', no more protestin'. But every family cookout, they’ll bring up that day, When my zipper and Jenny’s shirt got tangled in that way.
