The Sun

I've become obsessed with the thought of the sun Hearing that you can't stare at it For long periods of time So naturally I had to try it out Two minutes went by and my brain was lead Causing everything to go wrong inside of my head Oranges and reds and magenta and purples Started dancing to and fro amongst the lights Driving the next day, the high beams in my mirror I thought I'd gone blind. My retina is comitting suicide Slowing down to make him turn them off It doesn't work it just starts flashing Like my life before my blind eyes My parents and my grandmother's pie Cooling in the kitchen, and when I Saw a sunbeam connect to me from the sky I've been obsessed with the thought of the sun A big mass of gas that can burn you when you're not near My sunglasses don't do shit to help me Maybe I'm just supposed to trust it blindly posed to trust it blindly.
