Pressing, weary wanton eyes Against the window's glass Witless wicked witches, whose wishes Come at last Fury and fervor for freedom and folly Flickering and flittering, fruitless faith Occult, arcane, primordial soup Bubbles and froths, rebirth anew There's something strange in the air, A mist, a must, an autumnal glare I'm staring with glory and glee A strange and ethereal glance, greets me An otherwise beautiful world of wonder Turned putrid, burned by blunder and blight Blinded by wrath, greed, and distaste I fuel my fire with fury and waste My heartbeats from the depths of my soul, A strange and occult division unfolds Words cannot express, my heart cannot rebuke What these miserable melodies cannot evoke, And what these ghosts demand, to invoke A strange and unusual design unlike Anything my mind can unwind or deceive I stare, and I hope for tomorrow's new scope For a breath of fresh and holy divine To purify these wicked, wretched words I speak I spoke, I dreamt for something to grow Anew, to hope, to seize, to be A dream to be rebirthed, reborn To awake to a day before I was torn, Tarnished, battered and broken Beaten, bloodied, and barely breathing I am barely breathing
