Lost my place in the sacred throng Where did I go wrong? From above, I used to fly Guarding stars, touching the sky But now I'm plunging, can't defy This fate, I don't deny Through the skies Once with grace, but now alone All my cries Echoing in silent swoon I'm just fallen, I can't see A heaven lost, what's left for me? Doubted grace, now I descend Questions tear, my faith to rend Was this fall my due decree? Lesser being, stripped of glee As I tumble through the air Searching for a solace rare Heaven's gate, it fades from view Whispers soft, I once knew In the void, all truths unwind Seeking light, for me to find With broken wings, what course to chart? Heavy heart, my celestial part Is there hope in this descent? Silence loud, so vehement Whirlwind past, my purpose bleak Wings asunder, solace I seek In the fall, do I find truth? Can shattered faith be my youth? Shrouded doubts that fill my head Is redemption just ahead? Or am I lost, to wander dead? Answers hidden in the dark Seeking a new divine spark Cast from heaven, to the unknown Searching for a light, once shown
