Alone

In the vast expanse of solitude, I dwell alone, In the silence of the night, my heart does moan. The echoes of my thoughts, in the empty room, Resonate with the pain, like a silent tomb. Alone I stand, amidst the shadows deep, In solitude's embrace, my soul does weep. The stars above, they twinkle and shine, Yet in my heart, no solace I find. Isolation surrounds me, like a shroud of mist, In the darkness of my mind, I do persist. A solitary figure, in a world so cold, Longing for a touch, a hand to hold. But in the solitude, I find a certain grace, A quiet strength, in this lonely space. For in the stillness, I learn to see, The beauty of my own company. So I embrace the solitude, with open arms, And find solace in its silent charms. For in the depths of my own mind, A world of wonder, I do find. In the richness of this lonely state, I discover a truth, so intimate. That in the quiet of my own soul, I find a sense of peace, that makes me whole.
