Nova Scotia

[Verse 1] In Nova Scotia, we saw eight bald eagles fly, One moose in the forest, under a mostly cloudy sky. Took a hike on Skyline trail, and it felt way too long, GPS tried to kill us the directions were wrong. [Chorus] Oh, Nova Scotia, land of seafood and rocks, Where the people were friendly we even saw a red Fox. From Lunenburg's charm to the beautiful flora We tried freakin’ hard and think we saw the aurora. [Verse 2] From the shore, we saw a Harbour seal swimming. No restrooms in sight and our bladders were brimming. Curse that Tim Hortons', made us piss in a canyon. Ate some good food and loaded up on smoked salmon. We saw cute boats and light houses all along the shore. Mostly slept in separate rooms because we both kinda snore. We ate scallops and haddock, it’s about all they sell. [Verse 3] We thought in Kilometers, the metric system we used. Endless roundabouts sometimes made us confused. There were historic citadels built by the English and the French. Standing water in moats that gave off quite a stench. Popped into New Brunswick to break into a park. Slipped through a broken fence it wasn’t even dark. We’re basically criminal but we mean no offense. An employee told us how to sneak inside, in our defense. [short instrumental break] [Bridge] It was the off season and many things were shut. The gravel roads were washed out often driving in a rut. The leaves were budding interspersed with pine. Nova Scotia’s multi-cultural are some pad Thai with lime. [Chorus] Oh, Nova Scotia, land of seafood and rocks, Where the people were friendly we even saw a red Fox. From Digby to Pictou, Yarmouth to Peggy’s Cove. We explored Nova Scotia 2,887 Kilometers we drove. [Outtro] Maybe one day we’ll return, it’s a beautiful land. Stunning sights abound it was truly grand. Gotta dump out my shoes, I think they’re full of rocks and sand. The leaves were budding interspersed with pine.
