To the Elders and the Flock

[Verse 1] Elders among us, with wisdom so pure, Guiding God's flock, living for His allure. A witness to Christ's suffering, through sorrow to joy, His glory is so near, in heart and soul we deploy. Shepherds watch over souls, not out of compulsion, Serve with a willing heart, at the throne of salvation. Pursue not the gain that deceives and engulfs, Serve and be worthy of His righteous folds. [Chorus] For the Chief Shepherd's crown, so eternal and bright, Anticipate it, elders, hold on tight. Humble yourself before His benevolent hand, Embrace hope in His love, ev'ry son, and ev'ry clan. [Verse 2] You who are young, in reverence, submit to the wise, Clothe yourself in humility, before His truth will arise. For the proudest of hearts, a barrier to His grace, But the humble find comfort, in His gentler embrace. [Chorus] Cast cares to Him, who cherishes His own, His steadfastness, when trials start to grow. Album eyes upon us roams rugged and crouched, Stand firm in His faith, courage in voices tough.
