In everyone's mind lies a magnifying glass, focusing either on sorrow or on joy. Those with high emotional intelligence serve as maids, while those without are treated as esteemed guests. There are moments when one may defy the heavens, yet the heavens never seal off the path of man. Life is imperfect; you must learn to choose. Life is akin to a raging inferno; you must learn to make choices, to embrace the most beautiful things, and to ensure that every day is filled with happiness. Each person possesses a magnifying glass, either to be overcome by hardship or to overcome it. No one is ever entirely content and always smooth-sailing. Everyone has an amplifier, and each has the helm of an aircraft carrier; you must learn to choose. For fame and profit, is it to be upright and ambitious, to hold fast to one's principles, or to forsake oneself and live a life of compromise? There will come a time to ride the wind and break the waves, to hoist the sail and navigate the vast ocean. Life is fleeting; seize the day, for above you looms the divine, cherish the legacy of your life, live as a person of integrity, why scramble for existence, rely on others' breath, fawn and beg for a living. I would rather stand and earn my keep than resort to begging or robbery. A century of life passes in the blink of an eye. Pay no heed to the rustling of leaves in the forest, why not chant and stroll leisurely. A cloak of mist and rain is all that is needed for a lifetime. A thousand sails pass by the side of a sunken ship, and ten thousand trees herald spring before a sickly tree. My heart is like white clouds. My will flows like water, aspiring to the nobility and resilience of pines, brave and unencumbered.
