The night holds breath, the world stands still, As fiery light consumes the chill. A wish is made, a heart does thrill, In meteor’s wake, dreams fulfill. A symbol of the universe, In splendid, fiery verse. A mystery that we traverse, A cosmic bond, a silent curse. For in its glow, we see our past, Our future, fleeting, racing fast.
