The Color Carousel

Red is the color of a bright, shining rose, The apple that in the orchard grows. Orange is the pumpkin, so round and sweet, And the leaves in autumn, crunching at your feet. Yellow is the sun, so warm and bright, A banana, a star, glowing at night. Green is the grass, where we love to play, A frog, a tree, in the month of May. Blue is the sky, and the ocean deep, A blueberry pie, a good night's sleep. Purple is the flower, in the garden fair, A butterfly's wings, flapping in the air. Pink is the blush, on a baby's cheek, A flamingo's feathers, so unique. Brown is the earth, where the trees take root, The bark on the tree, a cuddly bear's suit. Colors of the rainbow, bright and true, Paint the world, for me and you. On the color carousel, round we go, Learning about colors, as we grow.
