I'm not a part of the conformity, I'm with the misfits not society, Every time they look to see, Their gaze goes right through me. The rage I have inside the cage, Could leak out onto my stage and terrorize the audience, I wish I could find an easier way, To have the words to say, About what they want. The massive weight I hold inside, I cannot wait until I find, The way out of my own head, I remember everything I've said. The outsiders and misfits like myself, Are always put upon a shelf, Our feelings are often discarded, Hopes and dreams broken hearted, When I find my way through this mess, I'll blame every second on my distress, Trauma will be my saving grace, Then I'll throw it back in your face.
