(Verse 1) In the mountains high, where the spirits fly, Stands the fierce Fudō, with fire in his eye. Sword of wisdom sharp, cuts through the night, A rope in his grasp, pulling souls to the light. Chorus of flames, they dance and they roar, Guardian of Law, his vow to uphold. The unshakable one, in stillness he reigns, Achala-vidyārāja, his immutable name. (Chorus) Oh Fudō Myōō, the immovable king, Guide us past temptation, to enlightenment bring. With your lasso of truth, draw us near, Through the fire of purity, let our path be clear. (Verse 2) Yamabushi's pride, in the silence they seek, Fudō's wisdom in the echoes of peaks. Good fortune he brings, to the year of the Rooster, A beacon of luck, prosperity's booster.
