[Instrumental] I'm just a poor boy with a computer and a dream. Chasing techy fantasies just bursting at the seam. What ever did I do to deserve a nerdy fate? How ever did I end up born with my nerdy trait? I'm just alone in this world with a passion for my computer. And a truer passion just couldn't be truer. Still I wonder if tech was the way I should have gone. It's these doubts and fears that are why I sing this song. My friends like to jockey about Intel versus A.M.D. Or Radeon versus Nvidia but it makes no difference to me. My computer plays games and that's all that really counts. These silly things they gripe about are just fake internet clout. When I turn off my computer I see the birds up in the trees. When I walk outside my house I see the flowers and the bees. There's a whole wide world beyond this thing we call the internet. You don't need to be online all the time and post and fume and fret. Oh to know what to do with all the tech skills that I've gained. When tech doesn't replace real life I really am quite truly pained. Despite all my tech prowess well a person is all I am. And so I decree my life shall be until my bitter end. I'm just a poor boy with a computer chained to the sands of time. Running hard to get ahead but only stuck behind. In life and tech I see that my humanity's still here. All love and joy and pain and hate and faith and life and fear. I'm just a poor boy with a computer on this spinning rock called Earth. I'm just a poor boy with a computer like I've been ever since birth. I'm just a poor boy with a computer on this planet stuck in space.
