Ego Death

[silence] [deep] [futuristic] [spoken word] [commanding] [powerful] EGO DEATH!!!!! look inside my mind you'll see a vacancy sign a motel full of everything that isn't myself i dwell on the outside looking on the inside staring at a mirror no reflection I cope with my vices these goggles I wear wonder what the price of my foresight is this mental prison synonymous with my image locked away and hidden behind a vault door with the words written no entrance You can't attack my character when I don't know what it is discerning my worth is the price of existence What does it really mean to be yourself? is it something we create, or virtues that are upheld on this i think i dwell because i have no sense of self-- is this something that was foretold? A journey set in stone? or am i carving my own path and forging my own road?-- a change of times is coming but it might just be my mind shifting and changing into something stronger this time-- So i'll hide inside my chrysalis meta morphing into something different as I pay for my own weight in silver and gold
