Heading out this morning, into the great unknown, Following the path of those who dared to roam. In the footsteps of explorers who shaped history, Their journeys paved the way for those yet to be. John Franklin braved the icy Arctic seas Searching for a passage to the Western seas. His ill-fated expedition sought fame and glory, But tragically succumbed to the frozen territory. Alexander Mackenzie ventured far and wide, Exploring rivers and lands with great pride. He was the first to cross North America by land, you see, Reaching the Pacific Ocean in 1793. Martin Frobisher and John Cabot sailed the open sea, Seeking a northern route to riches and glee. Their voyages marked the beginning of exploration , Opening up new worlds and nations.
