I walked in the hills and I spied an ald tree. "Wise tree, I ask thee, what all hast thou seen?" The tree, it answered; with a sigh it did say, "I've seen more than man can know of these days." "Pray tell," I inquired of the wise gnarled tree. It said, "Sit down... lend both ears to me."The worlds grown darker, these days, it is true, but once long ago, only innocence knew.
