Good times

Down here where the sun kisses the sand, We’ve got our rods and a cooler full of plans, Got that old boat bobbing on the shoreline, And a cold beer waiting for me to unwind. We’re out here fishing where the saltwater flows, Throwing lines and casting where the big one goes, With a buddy by my side, we’re laughing loud, Living life easy, no need to slow down. Yeah, the day starts slow, but it’s always right, With the sun setting low, painting skies in light, Just a bunch of good ol’ boys chasing dreams and fun, From dawn till dusk, we’re out here on the run. We’re hanging out, stories getting tall, Playing guitars by the firelight, feeling the fall, Grillin’ up some fish and talking ‘bout the game, With the stars overhead and the moon’s soft flame. As the waves roll in and the night creeps on, We’re making memories till the break of dawn, Living Southern life, where the simple things rule, And every moment’s golden in this laid-back groove.
