Journey of Faith: The Song of Moses

(Verse 1) In the heart of Egypt, 'neath the burning sun, A baby was born, his journey just begun. Raised in Pharaoh's palace, with riches all around, But his heart was with his people, in the slave compounds. (Chorus) Oh Moses, Moses, man of God so brave, You led your people out, from being Pharaoh's slaves. Through the Red Sea waters, and desert's scorching sand, You guided them with faith, to the Promised Land. (Verse 2) With staff in hand, you challenged Pharaoh's might, Ten plagues you brought, until he saw the light. "Let my people go!" was your fervent cry, And when Pharaoh refused, his firstborn did die. (Chorus) Oh Moses, Moses, man of God so strong, You faced down Pharaoh, and righted a great wrong. Through the Red Sea waters, and desert's barren span, You led them with God's word, to the Promised Land.
