A Saviour Submission

[Verse 1] O marvel, heavens, the earth stand still, Behold the scene on Calvary's hill. The mocked, the scorned, the Lamb so true, With thorns His brow, blood in view. [Refrain] Perfect submission, all is at rest, In Jesus' suffering, God's will expressed. The sacred blood for us was shed, In Him we live, our risen Head. [Verse 2] No angel called, no wrath He showed, Amongst the jeers, His love still flowed. "Satan's design," the mob cried loud, Yet, Christ stood firm, His head unbowed.
