Snoozy Mocha, always leavin' me, Once it hits 8 PM, she's off to her dream, Can't keep her by my side, she's gone in a flash, Leavin' Mason all alone, tryin' not to crash. Every night it’s the same old story, Mocha's in bed, while I'm watchin' Maury, She says goodnight and slips away, Leavin' me here with nothin' to say. I try to cuddle up, but she’s already gone, Snorin' like a lion, while I’m holdin' on, Tick-tock goes the clock, and I’m wide awake, Snoozy Mocha's dreamin', while I lie and wait. Every evening, it’s a race to 8, She’s driftin' off early, while I debate, Should I watch some TV or read a book? While Mocha’s snoozin' in her comfy nook. I make us dinner, we laugh and chat, But once the clock strikes, she’s out like that, Sippin' her tea, then she says goodnight, Leavin' me alone in the soft moonlight.
