Stars

As long as I remember, there were no shining stars, The silence I remember, in place of my heart, and in the silence remember-ing all the things I did I faced away my problems, knowing only something of them. and so I do remember when my first star appeared, I grabbed onto its flicker, so no one knew its there, and yet I still remember, the warmth of star and now I am with a thosand and thousand n' some. But it always wasn't like that, in times of past I knew, that nothing was forever, all there was, was a fadeing blue. So on the top I stood, watching from an edge, looking for stars, not knowing, I was looking for a clue. And as the years went o-on, waiting for a clue, Then I saw a maa-an, do something pretty cool, A star glowed so brightly, it lit up in a room, and Then I started seeing, in all the people's hands, clasped tightly in the darkness, a little, little star light wishing to come true. And all around I saw me, a stary light filled night, with people hugging people in side the night. Then the lovely people, stars glowing bright, were lifted up to heaven, not one in sight. and so with all the people gone now, I look into the night, anylyzing patterns in the dead of night, the stars of the past now tell me their way in my pursuit, the tru-th will let me make my own morning star, strong than strong can be-e. Then one day I could pass my star to you. So I'll keep on moving, moving and thinking as I hold my morning star in my hand. making our wishes come true. Then this wish will come true...
