After finishing his homework diligently, the student, known for always helping others, sat quietly, hoping to relax before starting another challenging project, his mind still filled with ideas. 2. The broken window, fixed by the man last week, was left open, allowing the freezing air to enter the room, making everyone inside feel frozen. 3. The little girl’s being able to speak English so well is the result of her spending lots of time in practicing. 4. With his homework finished, the boy went home happily without worrying about being punished by his parents with people watching. 5. Despite (in spite of) the fact that he had no money, the boy managed to find a gift, the price of which scared his parents to death, which became the greatest news for today. 6. Though not invited, I will go to the party, and if caught, I can try my best to run away when having a chance.
