Take your time. Telling me what to do. Because, when it’s over. you know we’re through. I’ve been listening. Till my ears have been full. And overflowing. Trust me. this fool of a man. hears what you’re knowing. But if you ever once. for second. let me speak. You might understand. Im tired. and I’m weak. I don’t get in a word edgewise. not even a peep. I’m bored with this life. it’s putting me to sleep. Take your time, But remember, we're not fine. I'm drowning in silence, While you draw the line. I've been patient, But my patience wears thin. You're the loudspeaker, And I can't get a word in. But if you'd ever pause, And let me break through, You'd see the depths of my sorrow, And the pain I construe. I'm not just a shadow, In your one-man show. I'm fading in the background, With nowhere to go. So listen closely, To the silence I keep, It's filled with the echoes, Of promises we couldn't keep.
