Very Bad Dreams

[Verse 1] In the dark of the night, under moon's soft glow, There's a weary crow, feeling oh so low. With feathers ruffled, and eyes open wide, He's haunted by nightmares, nowhere to hide. [Crow cawing] "Caw, caw, caw!" [Chorus] Oh, the crow has nightmares, of boils and sheep, Tossing and turning, can't get no sleep. With a "croa" and a "caw", in the dead of night, He dreams of shadows, that give him fright. [Verse 2] In his dreams, he sees the boils, bubbling and red, Covering the fields, where the sheep have fled. Their bleats turn eerie, echoing his mind, A never-ending nightmare, so unkind. He shakes his feathers, tries to clear his head, From the haunting visions, that filled him with dread. [Sheep bleating] "Baa, baa, baa!"
